Badstufest - Saturday 25th September

We’re looking forward to celebrating the end of the XIX International Sauna Congress with you at Badstufest on Saturday, 26 September!

“Badstufest” simply means “Sauna Party” in Norwegian, because that’s exactly what it is: A party with saunas!

Here’s everything you need to know for the evening:

  • Where
Sukkerbiten, Oslo, a fantastic waterfront venue overlooking the Oslo Fjord, located between the Oslo Opera House and MUNCH.

  • When
Saturday, 26 September. Doors open at 19:00.
    The event ends at 00:00.

Important: Badstufest requires a separate ticket

Please note that Badstufest is not included in the regular Congress ticket and requires an additional ticket.

If you have not already booked Badstufest, you can add the ticket to your existing booking via the link in your order confirmation (by 20th September).

Sauna village
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Badstufest without plenty of sauna!

Together with Oslo Sauna Association and our partners, we’re creating a sauna village at Sukkerbiten with several sauna tents and mobile saunas, including saunas provided by BAST and Sauna Aid. The saunas will be available throughout the evening, giving you plenty of opportunities to enjoy the heat and meet fellow sauna enthusiasts from around the world.

Electrolytes will also be available courtesy of our sponsor SALTE, helping everyone stay hydrated between sauna sessions.

Floating saunas

From 20:30–22:00, Badstufest guests will also have the opportunity to experience Oslo Sauna Association’s 14 floating saunas at Sukkerbiten. Access to the floating saunas will be on a first come, first served basis.

NOTE: Alcohol consumption and swimming in the sea is not a safe combination. Stay sober until after your bath, and take care of yourself and others.

Food is included

Food will be served throughout the evening from Sukkerbiten’s food trucks, with pizza and fish & chips on the menu. Food is included in your Badstufest ticket.

Dietary requirements and food preferences registered with us will be taken into account.

Bar

Sukkerbiten’s bar will be open throughout the evening, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase.

Music, DJ & dancing

We’ll have a DJ, music and a dance floor throughout the evening – and after the final sauna sessions, we’ll turn up the party!

See you at Sukkerbiten!
